CommUNITY Dinner and Activity Night

Families gather to enjoy camaraderie and dinner. Adults can connect about the neighborhood, while children take part in planned activities.

  • Who can participate: All are welcome!

  • Date & Time: Second Friday of the month; doors open at 5:30 pm; dinner is served at 6:01 pm. Activities take place before and after dinner. Dinners for 2020 are on hold as we wait for COVID-19 to allow us to welcome back our community.

  • Cost: Free.

  • Registration: Not necessary.

Memory Cafe

The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance hosts educational seminars regularly as part of our mission to support individuals and families who live with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Memory cafes are a monthly social gathering for persons with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s, or other dementia, and their family and friends.

  • Who can participate: All are welcome!

  • Date & Time: TBD. The Memory Cafe is on hold due to COVID-19.

  • Cost: Free.

  • Registration: Not needed.

Play ‘N’ Learn Baby Camp

Offered by the Madison Metropolitan School District

Play ‘N’ Learn provides a learning environment for families who may not have access to similar opportunities and who are not currently participating in similar programs. Children learn early math, literacy, and social skills through play and caregivers learn about child development, the importance of play, and parenting skills.

  • Who can participate: Children 0-5 and their caregivers, who reside in the Madison School District

  • Date & Time: Fridays from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. Play ‘N’ Learn is on hold due to COVID-19.

  • Cost: Free.

  • Registration: Register on site when you come to your first session.
